Hey all,
We appreciate that the radio silence from us hasn't been ideal. However, we also know that every company and its dog has been posting and sending emails about COVID-19, and maybe (earlier this week especially) you were getting a little bit sick of those.
We also wanted to sit tight until we had enough information that felt worth giving.
The short answer is that we still don't know what's going on. Nobody does. It's been less than a week of quarantine, and until it's been three, we won't really be able to tell how much of an effect it's having, or what the future might hold.
Here's what we do know:
1) Our main comics supplier, Diamond, has stopped moving. The comics that would have been due out this week are being held in a warehouse indefinitely. So nobody else is getting them either - you aren't missing out! And it's not like you don't have a reading list to catch up on anyway. Art is important, always, but we're hardly deprived of it, and getting new comics isn't worth endangering lives.
2) Some of our other suppliers are still going, but we're not. We aren't an essential business, and while we're going to be hit hard financially by this, we don't want to create additional vectors to pass on the virus by being out and about posting orders.
3) For this reason, while our website is still functional so that you can browse products, we will not be posting any orders until the lockdown is loosened.
We'll update again when we know more, but it probably won't be for a couple of weeks.
